MSC Opera is a 2150 - passenger ship. The ship was upgraded in 2015. During the refurbishment, new spacious staterooms with balconies and 319 sq. m (3434 sq. ft) common space were added, expanded restaurant and buffet areas. There are 1071 cabins in 5 different categories of staterooms from 13 to 27 sq.m (140 sq.ft – 290 sq.ft) on the ship. Dining is available in 2 restaurants, grill/pizzeria, and buffet. Also, there are 6 bars, pub, and lounge. MSC Opera’s facilities include jogging tracks, spa, solarium, 2 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, gym, sauna, mini-golf, theater, casino, virtual arcade, shopping area, beauty salon, and internet center. The ship is accessible for passengers with special needs. MSC Opera offers 5 fully equipped handicap cabins available for passengers in a wheelchair. Restaurants, elevators, and staterooms have Braille on their signatures for passengers with low vision. Amplifiers and special devices that can change an alarm from an audio alert to light and vibration are available for guests with hearing impairment. Special dietary food can be ordered at restaurants.
MSC Armonia is a mid-sized ship. The last refurbishment was done in 2014-2015. Maximum capacity 2679 passengers. There are 976 staterooms in 5 categories, 4 restaurants, 10 bars and lounges, disco & cabaret, casino, Internet cafe, walking track, beauty and medical spa, gym, sport center, 2 swimming pools, 2 whirlpools, solarium, sun deck, shopping area, library, and 4 handicap staterooms to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities. 5 kids' & teen clubs, video games arcade, Baby Care program and private Kids Around the Clock baby sitter make MSC Armonia a perfect option for family cruise vacation.
